Traced by the tattoos...Polices Advantage

Tattoos can speak louder than words sometimes; people can just indentify a person not by his name or what that individual does but mainly by the tattoos on his body.  Tattoos are like an identification tags especially when the tattoos consists of numbers and letters. The police use this kind of identification technique when they find a body that’s barely breathing and they can’t identify the body they look at the tattoos of the person and try to find out who he is. The police department has a database of tattoos associated with the people they take custody of. It’s as simple as putting a phrase or numbers on the computer and in return a profile of a person pops up.  This is beneficial for the police if they have to get a hold of family members; this process can save time and get the job done quickly.

It’s astonishing to see how the police department adapted to the treed of tattoos. This is to their advantages and helps them to make their jobs easier. Tattoos are supposed to be free expression but in this case every aspect of the tattoos is being analyzed and recorded for official records. The person is being judged by the tattoos he has and usually it’s associated with a negative reaction and consequences.

I’m talking about this because I like to look at all aspects tattoos have on the society and the individual.  Tattoos can have different interpretations, not just the image on a person’s body. They arre a piece of memory, thought, meaning, edification, thought, customization, consequence, and everyone interprets tattoos differently, so it is hard to just like tattoos. Everyone has mixed feelings about them even me.
